The Australian International Standard Music Number Agency, established in December 2001, is located at the National Library of Australia.

Australian music publishers may request ISMN registration and allocations by mail, fax, email, or via the Internet using a web input form on the Australian ISMN Agency website.

A list of Australian music publishers registered with the Agency is available online through the Australian ISMN Agency website (see below).
