The Finnish ISMN Agency is located at the Helsinki University Library of the National Library of Finland, and has been operating since 1995. The ISMN office is part of the Finnish ISBN Agency.

128 music publishers have registered for an ISMN. About 85 % of the Finnish publications of notated music are numbered with an ISMN.
