Ghana

 

The Ghanaian ISMN Agency was established in January 1999, but only started full operation in January 2001. It is located at the George Padmore Research Library on African Affairs which is part of the Ghana Library Board. The Ghana Library Board is under the Ministry of Education. The George Padmore Research Library administers other international numbering systems as the International Book Number (ISBN) and the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). The Library does not have computers; everything is done manually.
